Move.
Independent movement. The ship answers to you, not to the grid.
The map stopped describing the territory.
The territory began obeying the map.
Two measurements of the same region. Both correct. Neither negotiable.
Errant North is a region where spatial references stopped converging. The map stopped describing the territory. The territory began obeying the map.
Positioning and spatial manipulation matter as much as shooting. The Tether is a weapon, an instrument, and a narrative mechanism at once.
Rupture resolves the geometry. Marked targets break first.
Fast. Fluid. An action roguelite where positioning is the weapon — not an atmospheric detour.
A ship anywhere in known space could determine exactly where it was — and where it faced — without stars, beacons, or local cartography.
Then the Divergence Event. The system built to make every reference converge began producing incompatible answers.
And all of them remained correct.
The phenomenon became known as: ERRANT NORTH.
Whether the experiment created it, revealed something that had always existed, or gave a latent property a structure to manifest through — remains unanswered.
Four regions. Four incompatible spatial laws. Same cartographic grammar.
A perfect cartographic grid becomes physical geometry. Corridors, quadrants and alignment references organize the battlefield.
Edges and spatially incompatible positions become adjacent. Distance no longer determines connection.
Movement and trajectories are recorded and physically replayed later. What you did returns.
Regions excluded from representation begin to cease existing as stable local space. What is left off the map stops being reliable.
A region left off the map does not become empty. It becomes uncertain.
No school is objectively correct. The cartographer remains independent and combines technologies derived from incompatible schools.
This is not a map of where you can go.
The route contains decisions not yet made. It changes as new spatial exceptions are stabilized — prediction, causality and manifestation left deliberately unresolved.
Not oversized monsters. Reinterpretations of former spatial correction functions. Defeating one proves an impossible exception can remain operationally valid.
Associated with incompatible orientation and vector reconciliation.
Final canonical form not established. Representation intentionally partial.
Associated with borders, exclusion, and what decides whether a region belongs to a map.
Final canonical form not established. Representation intentionally partial.
Associated with transformations between incompatible frames of reference.
Final canonical form not established. Representation intentionally partial.
Associated with recording and reproducing trajectories.
Final canonical form not established. Representation intentionally partial.
Two measurements.
Both impossible.
Both correct.
The authority asked her to discard one.
She refused.
She received a transmission in her own voice.
She came to map Errant North.
Errant North had already mapped her.
She is not the chosen one.
She is the unresolved one.

A twin-stick action roguelite about weaponizing impossible space.
Enter a living anomaly. Anchor impossible points. Redraw space to survive.
You have returned from the expedition. What you stabilize, you keep.
